June 16, 2007 Sponsored 2nd Relay Symposium held by the Chugoku-Shikoku Regional Office of City Planning Institute of Japan. Sponsored 2nd Relay Symposium, "City building utilizing water, plants and historical resources", held at Okayama City Orient Museum by the Chugoku-Shikoku Regional Office of the City Planning Institute of Japan.
July 13, 2007 Commemorative ceremony for implementation of the Okayama University UNESCO Chair Inviting staff from UNESCO, Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan, Okayama prefecture government, Okayama city government, and others to a ceremony commemorating Okayama University UNESCO Chair establishment.
July 31, 2007 Agreement with Okayama government was signed. Agreement on ESD project proceedings was signed between Okayama University and the Okayama city government.

Oct. 27, 2007 - Nov. 3, 2007 Hosted "Kominkan Summit in Okayama". Okayama University UNESCO Chair and Conference of Okayama International NPO Network (COINN) both invited 20 CLC staff members from nine Asian countries to host "Kominkan Summit in Okayama".
